Join authors Adrian Lawson and Geoff Sawers for a walk along a majestic stretch of the Thames to learn more about Reading’s waterways flora and fauna , history and heritage.

Adrian and Geoff have jointly authored Two Rivers Press 2017 publication, ‘The Shady Side of Town: Reading’s Trees’ which tells stories of the natural wonders of Reading.

Geoff Sawers is an artist and poet inspired by his love of nature. Adrian Lawson has spent the last 30 years walking and cycling around Reading’s open spaces observing the wildlife that lives here, and he wrote about this for more than 20 years in the local paper.

Join them to discover more about the wonders of Reading’s natural landscape in a two hour circular walking tour of The Thames in central Reading.

Reading’s own publisher, Two Rivers Press, champion among other things Reading’s heritage and the beauty of its rivers with beautifully written and illustrated books.
